75th Anniversary tour to Normandy with the National World War 11 museum of New Orleans. 1st-7th June

7 days on the ‘Seabourn Ovation’ was a great treat on a magnificent ship. We joined the ship at Dunkirk, then visited Dieppe before docking at Le Havre to do the eastern end of the D Day landings. 400 Americans was an exciting challenge, mainly from the Southern States they were wonderful company. We then sailed to Cherbourg to do the US western area and our finale was on 6th June at the US cemetery Omaha with 12’000 others! Amazing – Presidents Trump & Macron on good form and the skies filled with flypasts. An honour to be with such charming clients and humbling to share their courage and sacrifice.
