On a 5 day tour to the Western Front, my hastily formed choir gave a stirring rendition of ‘Jesu lover of my soul' at the Mametz Wood red dragon monument;’ the dulcet tones attracted Gareth and a BBC Wales film crew from across the valley who are making a film about Welsh soldiers on the Somme.
With Gareth joining in, we were asked to repeat the performance which we gladly did!
